Beautiful model of a woman's pelvis used to demonstrate obstetrical manipulations, with the upper half of the femurs, bearing the reconstructed ligaments, in obstetrical position. Auzoux model based on model no. O-112 from the Tramond collection (Établissements du Docteur Auzoux, Paris, no date, p. VI: Techniques médicales et paramédicales). The Tramond collection was marketed from 1932 onwards by Établissements Auzoux, when they moved into the Tramond-Rouppert premises at 9, rue de l'École de médecine, Paris (Nathalie Latour, Céroplastie, corps immortalisés, Le Murmure 2020, p. 103). This collection included various preparations made from natural bone, used for manipulation and teaching medical students.
Very fine condition.
