IN VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION, ELECTRIC LANTERN IN WORKING CONDITION, WELL COMPLETE. THIS LANTERN WAS USED FOR THE FIRST CINEMATOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS, IN PARTICULAR WITH THE LUMIÉRE CINEMATOGRAPH THE LIGHT CAME FROM AN ELECTRIC ARC CREATED BETWEEN THE TWO GRAPHITE ELECTRODES LOCATED IN THE BLACK BOX. THE SMALL TINTED WINDOWS ON EACH SIDE ALLOWED THE PROJECTIONIST TO CONTROL THE GAP BETWEEN THE TWO ELECTRODES DURING PROJECTION, THE LENS IS FOCUSED BY RACK.
