Umberto Brunelleschi (1879-1949), Italian painter, illustrator and poster artist. In the 1920s, he diversified his activities by creating costumes for the revues of the Folies Bergère or the Casino de Paris and for the theater (Le Châtelet in Paris, and theaters in New York, Italy and Germany). He was the designer of numerous stage costumes for Joséphine Baker.
