In 1711, Barthélemy Dorez, originally from Douai, and his nephew Pierre Pelissier, founded an earthenware and soft porcelain factory in Lille, quai de la Haute-Deule. After 1716, Dorez separated from Pélissier. His sons, François and Barthélemy Dorez, then succeeded him in 1720. Production continued until 1730. The body of this soft porcelain is identical in appearance to that of Saint-Cloud, creamy white and with enamel well iced. The production consists of table pieces, coffee and tea services, flower vases, toilet pots, perfume burners, statuettes, enameled busts
