This oil painting is signed lower right: G.Appert for Georges Appert ( 1850-1934), French painter whose entire universe can be found, with the musketeers as his favorite subject, the men-at-arms are joyful, dressed in beautiful colors, they have fun playing with a little dog. The painting is on its original frame, not re-canvased, we report two small minor scratches to the paint and some small losses and wear to the frame.
