"Protective Statue, Western Nepal"
Protective statue called "Putali". It represents a seated character, elbows resting on his knees and hands clasped in the "Namaste" position. At her neck is carved a pearl necklace. The face is soft and the expression is internalized.Hard wood with brown and crusty patina in places.
Traces of libations. Slots and a few small spots of gray paint in places.
