Frédéric Auguste BARTHOLDI (Colmar 1834-Paris1904) Goldsmithing. Height 11 cm Self-portrait of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi as a medieval character, allegory intended for the Martin Schongauer monument for the cloister of the Unterlinden museum. Monument which will be dismantled. Bartholdi made an inkwell where the four small bronze figurines were presented.
