The bottle is shaped like a terminal, in white porcelain painted with flowers on all sides.
Partially erased golden threads highlight the edges.
The bouquets of flowers are very finely painted.
The neck and the large cap of the bottle are in solid silver with a decoration of a frieze of flowers and crossed ribbons.
The inside of the cap and the collar are in vermeil.
The unglazed bottom of the bottle bears the mark of Vienna: an azure shield as well as the number 33 in red and inscriptions in gray.
The silver setting is hallmarked:
. Wild boar pelt for solid silver
. HB goldsmith's mark with a flower, probably for Hortense Bourgeois, active from 1893.
Superb and very elegant porcelain tea box mounted in solid silver.
