Charming Louis XVI style silver box.

The box is round, in silver entirely guilloché with parallel lines dotted with dots.
The edge of the lid is decorated with a frieze of palms and flowers. The side of two pearl friezes.
The inside of the box is vermeil.

The box is hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for 950/°° silver
. Goldsmith's mark: CF with a portable forge for Charles Forgelot, active from 1901 to 1928
