One of the last paintings by Victor Favier signed and dated 1902. Oil on canvas decorated with an exceptional gilded frame. A label on the back of the painting does not give us enough information to know the identity of this charming woman. This painter was born on November 16, 1824 in Versailles. His masters were Wachsmuth and Horace Vernet. His specialty was landscapes but especially portraits. The painting has been restored to its dimensions with frame 78x68x6cm and excluding frame 60x50 cm
