4 engravings from the Galerie de Florence, published in four volumes between 1787 and 1807, and based on drawings by Jean-Baptiste Wicar, with commentary by Antoine Mongez. These works include masterpieces from the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace, in particular cameos, intaglios, bas-reliefs and paintings.

Provenance: flat of Prince Giovanni Caracciolo di Vietri, former Italian ambassador to France and descendant of the illustrious Neapolitan family whose first traces date back to the 10th century.

Condition report: very fine quality frame, burl wood moulding.
