Linen Thread Sheet - Mb Monogram Embroidered With Cordon And Plumetis Stitch - Circa 1900

Very pretty linen thread sheet, entirely sewn and embroidered by hand. It bears the initials M-B executed in cord and satin stitch, housed in a medallion represented by a series of polka dots and two small daisies. This fairly large piece of trousseau, dating from the very beginning of the 20th century, is decorated with white embroidery and ladder (or venice) details over the entire width of the flap as well as its returns. Beautiful quality of material and workmanship for this slightly off-white sheet. Old linen washed and ironed.
