Originally from Marseille, he settled in Algiers in 1875 and became director of the school of industrial art and professor at the society of fine arts. Noailly is the memory of Algiers life in its simplicity and authenticity. Painter and carver, his talent makes him an authentic great signature of the Algiers school.
