The large cap is made of solid guilloché silver and covered with a superb, very covering green enamel that matches the angle of the lid.

Georg Adam Scheid is a famous German goldsmith born in 1838, died in 1921, who began his career in the famous town of Pforzheim, nicknamed the city of gold because of its production of precious goldwork. In 1858 he moved to Vienna where he joined forces with the great goldsmith Michael Markowitsch. Georg Adam Scheid acquired great notoriety for the quality and preciousness of his works, in particular those comprising enamel on guilloché silver or gold.
