Rare pair of Swedish tripod armchairs from the 1930s called neo-Vikings. These armchairs, sometimes called monk's armchairs, are of a purity of style reflecting the precepts of Arts and Crafts. Their shapes and “ethnic” geometric patterns testify to the ingenuity of their design, and are, despite their apparent roughness, very comfortable.
