Beautiful baluster-shaped pewter WATER POT with gadrooned pedestal, molded throat and moving handle.
Hallmarking of Louis Toussaint BARDEL received master in 1705:
1°- flight / stick / LTP crowned / P. (Ce P pour Paris)
2°- ETIN FIN / LTBARDEL / sun / flight / stick / lily / (1715).
Control mark: crowned lily / FG / P, used around 1726.
Height: 23.2 cm.
PARIS, First third of the 18th century

Good condition, and early in the period for this type of "silverware-style" object. However, pitting has been reported under the pedestal
