"Large Still Life With Fruits. Signed Arthur Brunel De Neuville. (1852-1941)."
Large and magnificent composition. Still life with apple, pomegranate, pears and grapes in wicker baskets and ceramics on a stone entablature. The canvas is in excellent condition and presented in its old gilded frame, also in superb condition. (a few very small accidents, really not much). The painting is signed lower left by Arthur Brunel de Neuville, painter of fruit, still lifes and animal painter, particularly cats. Well-referenced artist appearing in several French museums. This painting was purchased a few years ago at the Louvre des Antiquaires. Large dimensions, 92 cm x 73 cm for the canvas alone. In its frame, 117 cm x 98 cm.
