Blued octagonal barrel, stamped on the left side "ELG" in a circle representing the ordinary proof of a black powder weapon in Liege in Belgium and a crowned "V", stamped "VC 72" on the underside.
Steel case, engraved with foliage.
The trigger guard is decorated en suite.
Fluted walnut stock.
Steel cap with chased knob.
Gravity repeating system.
