Large pair of wall sconce consoles, made of basswood, they are sculpted with a bouquet of acanthus leaves enclosed by a ring, from this abundant cut spring 3 windings forming a console supporting the top scalloped with convex and concave and flat curves, this cut-out shape is underlined by a leaf frieze, we note a difference between the two consoles at the level of this frieze, on one, it represents acanthus leaves while on the second it is a leaf frieze of water which is represented, this is the only difference between the two consoles, which present the same qualities of execution and finish, The finish which is original is both lacquered and gilded, we note a little of wear as well as some small accidents in the repair but the whole is still in very good condition.
