"Series Of Four Drawings With Street Jobs"
Four ink drawings on paper presenting street jobs, made circa 1810-1820 in Alsace (?).
The first one is titled « linvalide md deguille avec sa choette (sic) » (= the invalid needles’ merchant with his owl). The second « Croscheteur portant un Segretaire (sic) » (= “Crocheteur” carrying a writing desk). The third « a Retammée les culier les fourchette » (= recoating the spoons, the forks). The fourth and last « Mrde portant Samanne sur Sateite » (= Merchant carrying her wicker basket on her head).
