Metal: Billon (Silver 439) Average diameter: 26 mm

OBVERSE: Shield of France with Three fleurs-de-lys placed 2 on 1. In Latin: + KAROLUS: FRANCORV: REX (trans: Charles, King of the Franks).
REVERSE: Cross with two crowns and two fleur-de-lys. In Latin: + SIT: NOME: DNI: BENEDICTU (trans: Blessed be the name of the lord)

State of use after almost 600 years. Slight veiling of one piece, superficial friction and oxidation.
