"Polychrome Engraving Of The Cordouan Lighthouse Early 18th Century - Nicolas De Fer 1705 "
Polychrome engraving representing the Cordouan Lighthouse by Nicolas de Fer dated 1705.
At the bottom of the engraving, descriptive inscription: "In Paris at the S. de Fer in the Isle of the Palace on the Quai de l'Horloge at the Sphère Royale with Privilège du Roy 1705. A. Coquart Sculp".
Cordouan Lighthouse, Renaissance monument, the oldest lighthouse in France built in 1611.
Pichpin frame, cut and remented with keys with 2 threads (damaged at the bottom right - see photos).
