Beautiful Water Pipe, Black Wood, Zitan Or Hongmu, Silver & Paktong, China 19thc

Here is a beautiful water pipe, in black wood, very dense, with filamentary veins, reminiscent of "Zitan", but probably in "Hongmu". It is presented as is, but will remain a beautiful showcase and/or collector's item. The pipe that goes into the water tank is decorated with a small silver plaque around it, chiselled with a garland of flowers. Pretty stepped cutout, with silver application. The internal plate and the circular border are in Paktong. Hook in copper and Paktong, and base of the chain (absent) in silver with antique vase decoration.
Condition: Detachment of the water tank, absence of the chain and the spike (generally for opium), absence of a circular border at the bottom of the item, 2 significant cracks, and missing silver borders on the stepped cutout. Please look carefully at my detailed photos, I'm not hiding anything!
Asian working, most probably Chinese, dating from the mid-19th century, Circa 1840-1860.
