kakejiku, 18th century. the scroll is accompanied by its box and a tiger is depicted on it. I love Japanese tigers as they have never seen them before. They interpreted them in a funny way here, it looks more like a big cat. The painting has a "kofuku" stamp. -ji "of a temple but it is not clear which temple it is. The artist is not known the painting itself measures 110 cm/42.5 cm with the brocade 58.5/195
