Important and rare prestigious console, Parisian work, in rosewood veneer inlaid with lemon tree marquetry. This piece of furniture opens at the waist with a drawer, slightly recessed, inlaid with a composition of nets, foliage, flowers and scrolls highlighted by a rosewood stick. This drawer has two notches on the back to allow it to be opened. These elements rest on two large scrolled console feet, also decorated with lemon tree inlays, decorated with palmettes and rosettes, ending in claw feet. The whole is supported on a stepped base with projection. The rear pillars are straight. The bottom of this console is flanked by a rear mirror providing perfect symmetry to the half-round pattern present on the base making it circular by reflection. This prestigious piece of furniture is topped with white Carrara marble grooved on the edge.
