Pretty monoxyl wooden bust attached to a “beveled” wooden base.Engraving by the artist on the back of the base, monogram “RD”, “XIII July 194 (1? ou 7?)”
Dimensions: Height: 21.5 cm / base approximately 17 cm long and wide.
Dense, beautiful patina. Some old worm work, treated and healthy wood. Light and discreet tear of a thorn from the crown to the back of the skull.
Former provenance of the chaplain of the Sisters of St Thomas (Brittany).
