"Grand Bugadier De Biot En Terre Cuite Vernissée, XIXème Siècle"
Huge Bugadier from Biot. It measures 90cm high, and is 78cm in diameter. The interior is varnished and the neck is hand-serrated. It is in perfect condition, with superb original varnish on the interior. Bugadiers were used to do "Bugade", or laundry, much less common than jars because they were very used, many were broken.
This one still has somewhat exceptional proportions due to its imposing size and diameter. It is from the second half of the 19th century and it is pierced at the bottom.
