Beautiful colorful work by the German painter Elfriede Bernard-Reichelt which represents a view of the fishing village of Erbalunga in Cap Corse taken from the south side at setting sun.
Erbalunga is also called "the painters' nest" because in the 1960s many island painters and photographers came to immortalize this beach.

German painter, born in Dusseldorf, Elfriede Bernard-Reichelt studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Aachen and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf. He mainly painted landscapes, animals and genre scenes.
He stayed regularly in Corsica during his life and painted views of Corsican villages.

Dimensions: 54 x 73 cm without frame and 71.5 x 90 cm with its original modern gilded wood frame.
