"Smoking Case, Cigar, Cigarette Restoration Charles X Tabatiere 19th Century Fixed Under Glass"
Luxurious cigar case from the Charles X restoration period at the beginning of the 19th century. It is composed of brown and blond tortoiseshell veneers on a noble material core, on one side a painting fixed under eglomisè glass representing an animated landscape. The interior still has part of its original tinning, which allowed better conservation of the tobacco. On the top a metal cartridge with the HMH monogram. The closure system works very well. Note two small slots on one side at the hinge. Very beautiful object in good condition. Height 13 cm
