Elegant nineteenth painting of a seaside scene in thunderstorms. We see in the foreground are a woman looking into the distance a group of boats sailing in the storm. Superb quality paint and rendering for the storm, or shades of gray sets a tone very realistic tone. Autographed and dated lower right 1888 Louise married. Framed giltwood period.
