"Enamel Box On Copper, Late 18th/early 19th Century"
Small rectangular enamel box with floral decoration from the late 18th/early 19th century. On the lid, in the center, we can see a polychrome floral decoration composed of a bouquet made up of multiple flowers in pink, blue and purple colors provided with their light green toned foliage as well as small branches made of foliage and flowers in the same tones . We find a floral decoration matching that of the lid on each exterior side of the box which we also discover when opening the box, inside the lid. Exterior floral decoration surrounded by original golden ornamentation composed of intertwined foliage scrolls decorated with small flowers, still visible, covers this elegant little box with great refinement. French work, Late 18th/Early 19th century. Good condition One small hair visible outside the box and multiple visible inside. Wear to the gilding.
