"Important Renaissance Walnut Credenza, 16th Century. (196cm X 124cm)"
Important high sideboard called "credenza" in solid walnut. The credenza appeared during the Italian Renaissance, in the second half of the 16th century, particularly in the Venetia region. It opens with two leaves, and three drawers in the belt forming one when closed. The uprights are decorated with pilasters and grooves. The moldings in the center of the doors are octagonal in shape. The right door closes manually from the inside, and the other door closes using its key and lock which works well. This credenza is richly molded, while maintaining a pure and elegant line. Italy, second half of the 16th century. This rare piece of furniture is in good condition, it should be noted the presence of old restorations, and natural wear due to past centuries, taking nothing away from its charm. Its dimensions are large: 196cm wide, 124cm high, and 72cm deep.
