"Louis XVI Marquetry Commode"
Loui XVI chest of drawers in rosewood veneer and rosewood opening with four drawers, the top two of which are asymmetrical. The decoration on the front is a boxwood fillet forming six trompe-l'oeil drawers, the uprights with flat edges are decorated with flutes and the sides are highlighted with double fillets. It rests on straight legs. Its top is in gray marble. It is trimmed with gilded bronze for the handles and keyholes in the shape of hanging rings and beautiful bronze scraps for its base and its uprights.
