"Lost Wax Bronze "
We present this 2/8 bronze, lost wax, signed GIBERT and representing an accordionist. Lucien GIBERT was born in Saint Etienne (42) on June 21, 1904 and died on March 23, 1988 in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. He was very influenced by MAILLOL. He made his debut in his father's cabinetmaker's workshop, then he entered the Beaux Arts de Saint Etienne where he left numerous sculptures. He received orders from the French state and created more than two hundred medals for the Paris mint of which he was director. Our bronze was cast by SERRALHEIRO in lost wax. (E24) Ref. .............
