Rare basin or large decorative cup in bronze and cloisonné enamels with rich white-blue decoration of numerous characters in landscapes of pagodas and mountains, with beautiful vegetation (umbrella pine, bamboo, cherry trees), signed below Cheng-Te (Zhengde *), emperor of the Ming dynasty (1505-1521), from China at the beginning of the 16th century. This cup is in good general condition and is of exceptional quality. It is placed on a wooden base (rear). The cup is signed below the Cheng - Te ideograms, mark of the Zhengde Emperor. Please note: the cut is slightly distorted, some small accidents and losses on the cloisonné, some scratches and dirt, a foot is missing on the base, wear and tear, take a good look at the photos. * Zhengde (October 26, 1491 – April 20, 1521): personal name Zhu Houzhao, was the tenth emperor of the Ming dynasty (1505-1521). He succeeded his father as the tenth emperor of the Ming dynasty on June 19, 1505, at the age of fourteen.
