Patinated bronze sculpture by Georges ARTEMOFF (1892-1965) Titled "Fish" Bronze proof resting on a removable signed bronze base. Georges Artemoff, painter and sculptor of Russian origin, is closely linked to the artistic innovations of the first half of the 20th century in France. Trained in Rostov-on-Don then in Moscow between 1906 and 1912, he received a scholarship to go to Paris in 1913. He created sculptures on panels or in the round, very marked by the Art Deco style. . Testifying to a growing reputation, his creations are presented in numerous museums – in Paris (Beaubourg), Toulouse, Montpellier (Fabre museum), Sète and Castres.
