Louis XVI sugar bowl in finely chiseled solid silver decorated with seated cherubs leaning against oval medallions, feeding birds, all connected by beautiful floral garlands, taken from the lid in the shape of strawberries, resting on four claw feet, hallmarked with the Fermiers Généraux of Paris (1785) and goldsmith's mark Pierre Blard (received master in 1785), vintage 18th century.
