"Louis XVI Sugar Bowl Sterling Silver Farmers General Paris Pierre Blard XVIIIth"
Louis XVI sugar bowl in finely chiseled solid silver decorated with seated cherubs leaning against oval medallions, feeding birds, all connected by beautiful floral garlands, taken from the lid in the shape of strawberries, resting on four claw feet, hallmarked with the Fermiers Généraux of Paris (1785) and goldsmith's mark Pierre Blard (received master in 1785), vintage 18th century. This sugar bowl is in good condition. Hallmarked see photos. Note: tiny little shocks and scratches on the silver, micro-chips on the neck of the glassware, wear and tear, see photos.
