Monoxyl sculpture, arched top, a thick tabernacle door, sculpted in high relief of 6cm, deposition of Christ, held by archangel.
Bright gold and matte gold gilding for body and faces. Iron ring hinges, trace of lock, collection label.
Italy, or Provence, 17th century.
Condition of sculpture, good, normal wear. Condition of gilding, rather tired on matte golds still quite lively on shiny golds.
