"Poland. Silver Wedding Cup, Circa 1847"
Wedding cup with two silver side handles resting on an eight-lobed base, the terrace carries a tubular stem surrounded by a ring decorated with gadroons. The cup is spherical, flattened, with a flared lip which forms an edge decorated with a frieze of gadroons. The inside of the cup is gold. Poland circa 1847, 750/1000 silver, stamped with an old Austro-Hungarian hallmark in force from 1845 in Krakow.
