Magnificent suite of six silver-gilt spoons dating from the 18th century.

The spoons are in vermeil, with a shell fillet model. The spoon is hemmed on the reverse.

The spoons only bear a small, illegible hallmark, so it is not possible to establish with certainty the provenance of these spoons even if this style with the hemmed spoon and the vermeil are characteristic of Strasbourg. There was a very similar Parisian production but much more confidential.

The spoons are in their original leather case embossed with flowers.

Magnificent set of 18th century spoons with very beautiful silver-gilt and superb shell decoration!
The spoons are heavy and thick, a sign of quality manufacturing.

Very good state. Micro scratches from use and slight wear of the vermeil on the protruding parts; and in the box.
