"Empire Gilt Bronze Pendulum."
Gilt bronze pendulum, Empire style from the first part of the 19th century with a subject symbolizing Apollo god of music. Gilded bronze structure composed in the upper part of the god Apollo playing the lyre, accompanied by an "ancient guitar" with strings, a torch and a laurel wreath. The rectangular frame is decorated on the front with 2 medallions decorated with floral motifs, ribbons and arrows and a cartouche composed in its center of a lyre, a trumpet, a pan flute, a a whooper swan in a plant setting. White enameled dial with Roman numerals. The so-called "Parisian" movement and a wire movement, complete and working. Strikes the hours and half hours. Dials and slightly cracked (see photo). Very slight traces of wear. Very well preserved gilding. Very good condition of presentation .
