Portrait of a bigoudaine at her window overlooking a port. the canvas is signed lower left and dated 38. on the reverse sketch with two women and label titling the work "la bigoudaine". The work is in very good condition. it is presented in a Montparnasse frame in wood and patinated stucco. André Planson is a very famous painter. There is also a museum dedicated to him in La Ferté-sous-Jouarre. After receiving advice from Paul Meslé, a local painter, he took courses at the Ranson Academy in Paris. With Roland Oudot, Maurice Brianchon, Christian Caillard, Roger Limouse and Raymond Legueult, he forms the group of painters of poetic reality.
