Pair of Greek-style sconces from the Louis XVI period, with two arms of light, in chiseled and gilded bronze. Parisian work around 1780. Fluted barrel decorated with asparagus tips topped with a garland of laurel leaves falling at mid-height. The somital homeland is decorated with a fire pot, flanked on the front by a falling drapery. The sconces are decorated with acanthus leaves and support the lighting bins resting on large cup basins decorated with twisted grooves. Original gilding cleaned in an exceptional state of conservation. No drilling. Electrification possible on request and according to quote.
