2 Double-sided Sheets From A 15th Century Incunabula flag

Object description :

"2 Double-sided Sheets From A 15th Century Incunabula"
Rare pair of double-sided printed sheets, i.e. 4 pages, from an incunable work, printed before 1500. They include Latin text in Gothic characters, framed by magnificent engraved scenes forming a sort of dance of death in Gothic arcatures, with different characters from medieval society accompanied by skeletons symbolizing death. We can see for example the cord, the nanny, the squire, the abbot, the provost... Particularly interesting pieces, in perfect state of conservation, framed in simple baguettes with double-sided windows. Total dimensions: 21.5 x 15 cm, and 18 x 11.5 cm for the sheets alone.
