Fratelli Cassetti, Italian Design, Silver Metal Cooler Bucket Circa 1960.

Champagne bucket, cooler or planter..., there are multiple uses for this very elegant silver-plated metal object designed and signed by Fratelli CASSETTI (Florence, Ponte Vecchio, Italy, since 1926), circa 1960.
Octagonal in shape, unusual , and slightly flared upwards, its “hammered” sides capture the light and make it vibrate.
No visible and unsightly welding is to be deplored; superb “fatto a mano” shaping work, and synonymous with high quality.
Two soberly designed side handles allow it to be moved easily.
Signed on the top of one of the eight sides.
Very good general condition, with minimal moderate traces of use on the reverse and inside (see photos).
