Chocolate maker in solid silver hallmarked with the Fermiers Généraux de Paris 1774 1780, goldsmith's hallmark of Jean-Charles Roquillet-Desnoyers* (received master in 1772), monogrammed on the body, vintage 17th century. This chocolate maker is in good general condition. Hallmarked see photos. Note: some dents on the underside, scratches from time, see photos. * Apprenticed to the goldsmith Pierre-Henri Chéret from July 22, 1761, Jean-Charles Roquillet Desnoyers became a master on April 4, 1772 with the support of Jean-Baptiste Chéret. It began its activity around Place Dauphine until 1788 and then joined Rue de Mauconsil from 1789 to 1793. The hallmark inscribed by Jean-Charles ROQUILLET-DESNOYERS on April 8, 1772 was constructed as follows: a fleur-de-lys crowned, two grains, JCRD, one walnut.
