Ivory okimono depicting an elephant, with inlays made according to the Shibayama technique representing an adorning ceremonial costume, similar to those used in religious ceremonies.

It is supported by four feet which add stability and a touch of elegance.

Period: Meiji end of 19th century.
Dimensions: 14 x 9 x 5 cm.
Dimensions without ball: 9.8 cm.
Conservation status: Excellent condition. There are light signs of aging and natural cracks.
