"Lovely Suite Of Six Louis XV Period Flat-backed Armchairs In Natural Wood"
All of these flat-backed seats called "À la Reine" have been restored in the workshop, both in terms of the cabinetwork and the patina. All of the tapestry work has been completely stripped bare and reupholstered as originally, according to the rules of the art, with animal and vegetable hair, and upholstered with a discreet fabric with a floral pattern on a beige background, finished with an aged gold braid and patinated and spaced nails. All of these seats, dating from the 18th century, are not too imposing, which allows them to be easily placed in a living room. Height: 91.5 cm. Width: 65 cm. Depth: 52 cm. This suite of six natural wood armchairs rests on arched legs carved with flowers. The vibrant seats and backs are sculpted with flowers and foliage in their center. The armrest consoles are whip-shaped, set back from the front legs. The whole is in perfect state of conservation. An invoice certifying authenticity will be issued upon delivery.
