This silent film was directed by him, and originally lasted six hours... .reduced to two hours, to facilitate operation. Eric von Stroheim (1885-1957) is an actor of Austro-Hungarian origin, who also had a brilliant career in France. The Great Illusion, by Jean Renoir, was marked by his performance. The photo is signed by Roman Freulich, the official photographer of Hollywood stars in the Roaring Twenties. It is presented in a silver metal photo frame.
