"Alfredo Neri, Sculpture Reclining Nude Woman"
Bronze sculpture of a naked woman lying down, her head resting on her arms. Signed on the terrace Prof. A. Neri. Also has the foundry stamp - West Bronze - German Merchandise Factory GMBH (West Deutsche Bronce Warenfabrik GMBH). The sculpture rests on a black marble base, small chips on the base, see photos. There are few known works by the sculptor Alfredo Neri (Bologna, July 14, 1862 - 1928). The subject chosen by Neri allows to show the results obtained in the study of anatomy and sculptural techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
